From his humble beginnings in the family business as a commercial roofer during high school to becoming a sergeant in the US Marine Corps he has exhibited leadership and been recognized for his technical skill in his related fields. Troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions across a wide range of industries including retail, finance, banking, hospitality, construction trades, healthcare, and blockchain is why people consider him an “out of the box” thinker. He went on to become an independent financial advisor and co-founded a private mortgage banking/brokerage before leaving to focus exclusively on the inefficient private capital markets and executive leadership. He also co-founded a Registered Investment Advisory firm specializing in alternative assets and consulting Investment Advisors, institutional investors and private issuers.
Originally from the Hoosier state, Clem grew up enjoying the great outdoors and moved to Colorado where he married his high school sweetheart. They now live in Puerto Rico raising their 2 daughters and special needs son. When not strategizing the future of TCG, Clem enjoys spending time spearfishing and sailing the waters around the Caribbean.

Dirk has over 20 years of experience in executive management within the Risk Management and Compliance arenas across a variety of industries including finance, telecommunications, luxury travel, and transportation.  He has served on the boards of several private equity startup companies and has been instrumental on launching those companies as well as seeing them through run steady operations.

Joining the Convergence Group gave Dirk the opportunity to return to Private Equity and put his skills to use assisting the leadership team in growing and aligning the company with the core values, vision, and mission that the company was founded on.

Dirk has two sons, both of which are still in school.  The family enjoys travel and tries to visit at least one new destination every year.  Dirk feels that travel is an important part of his children’s education and experiencing new cultures and people greatly enhance the boy’s lives.

At a young age, watching his father lead global ministries, Sean was cementing the foundation for his life that would be rooted in respect and appreciation for people in all aspects of life. Being firmly grounded through his upbringing, Sean began his professional career early as the regional financial director of a global non-profit organization before transitioning to mortgage banking and brokering. In his twenties he founded a lending firm and for over a decade built a reputation as a leader and trusted industry resource. Over the years of managing and growing the enterprise he finetuned his risk mitigation and underwriting skillset that later led him to a career in private finance. Building on his experience he started a Registered Investment Advisory firm specializing in consulting on real world alternative asset investing and management.

Sean has studied on three continents and has traveled to almost 40 countries including every continent except Antarctica. When he’s not engaged in the business of the company, he is a devoted family man and avid sports fanatic who enjoys golf, activities with his children, and traveling with his wife and three young boys.

 

 

Previously, he served as the Chief Strategy Officer for the University of New Mexico Health System.  His responsibilities include assisting in the development and implementation of University of New Mexico Health System strategies, both internal and external.

Prior to his position at the University of New Mexico, he had responsibility for a multi-specialty physician practice, served the interim Chief Medical Officer, and was a member of the Senior Executive team at CHRISTUS St Vincent. Dr. Melio has also served as CEO/CMO of Hospital-based physician practices for CHRISTUS Health.

Frantz has had significant experience in strategy, operations, and governance of hospitals, medical staffs, and physician practices.  He has led numerous successfully operational turn-around, as well as development and implementation of new programs and facilities.

Frantz graduated from New York Medical College and completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Los Angeles County/University of Southern California.  He has remained active in academics with numerous publications.

Early in Joseph’s career, he was a practicing public accountant at Price -Waterhouse Coopers working in a variety of capacities including tax compliance, SEC compliance, MIS consulting, business planning, and emerging business practices. He has been an innovative financial and operations professional in and out of the public accounting arena for the past four decades. In addition to his time in public accounting, he has successfully launched, managed and sold two separate businesses with gross revenues of $150M with one exiting in a public roll up and the other selling to private equity. His experience has gained him great insight into the financial and operational strategies that make companies successful. He specializes in the selection and development of management teams and strategic partners to formulate and execute profitable businesses.

Hailing originally from the Land of 10,000 Lakes, Joe now spends his “out of office” time with his wife, hiking and mountain biking in the mountains of Colorado and the jungles of Puerto Rico or along the miles of beaches. Joseph also enjoys mentoring entrepreneurs and coaching life skills into his children and grandchildren
